
Saline STEAM Center
The STEAM Center was designed to highlight the achievements of Saline’s award-winning Robotics and Science Olympiad teams while providing flexible spaces for project-based learning, collaboration, and community events. The design process was highly collaborative, involving administrators, teachers, students, and community members. Their feedback helped shape a space that supports hands-on exploration and innovation across all disciplines.
- Robotics Competition space with full-size Robotics field, spectator area, and room for build and repair workstations.
- Competition Room designed to meet competition standards for height clearances.
- Cameras and large video display board to view robot movements during competitions.
- Ability to relocate the competition field and work areas with remote control overhead power cords throughout Robotics Room.
- Shared Workshop for Robotics and Science Olympiad. Equipment includes 3D Printers, Saws, Drill Press, Lathe, CNC Engraver, Spray Booths and all safety equipment.
