Tri County Elementary School

The Tri-County Area Schools’ 2019 bond program aimed to create a unified K-12 community campus by consolidating three existing schools into one. The new building features three wings, symbolizing collaboration among the counties.

Designed to provide students with abundant opportunities for growth, the school includes a dedicated STEM room, arts programs, and more.

A key design principle was maximizing natural light, which is most prominently showcased in the media center at the heart of the school. This space features 35 windows, flooding the room with natural light and enhancing the environment.

  • New 850-student K-5 elementary school
  • Building features dedicated space for each of the following: cafeteria, gymnasium, art room, music room, STEM room, and media center
  • Three classroom wings
  • Classroom wings feature unique design, rotating a bank classrooms to gain interesting/unique collaboration spaces in what used tobe a standard corridor
