Kingscott’s Design for Learning Summit, held on April 24, 2026, at Saline High School’s state-of-the-art STEAM Center, offered a full day of hands-on experiences, expert insights, and collaborative discussion focused on strengthening the connection between educational design, curriculum, and future workforce needs. Participants explored emerging models for combining STEM with Career Technical Education (CTE) to develop critical thinking, adaptability, and real-world problem-solving skills. Attendees engaged with live demonstrations—including a FANUC robotic arm demonstration—and heard from a diverse lineup of presenters including industry leaders, architects, educators, and educational strategists. Topics ranged from designing authentic, future-aligned learning spaces to leveraging AI in education and unifying STEAM and CTE pathways to better support tomorrow’s learners. An additional special event on May 1 took participants on an exclusive tour of FANUC’s North American Headquarters, offering behind-the-scenes insight into advanced automation environments and industry-education alignment. By the end of the summit, attendees left with actionable strategies to reimagine classroom environments, strengthen curriculum integration, and create future-ready learning pathways for students.
